Group, My major DUH!
I was trying to combine the two different ways to do an insert. I made the assumption that I would need the same number of columns as in a VALUES (VALLIST) insert. Just list the columns you want to use when using a SELECT insert. DUH! Sorry for the waste of time but THANK YOU for helping me figure this out. Jan
