tho i have to admit, simply out of curiosity, to just typing your error msg into google.
a couple of days ago i came across a winxp machine, that a soon as you logged in, would rotate the user's desktop upside down. turns out to be an issue with winxp and certain intel video drivers.
now *that* was weird! and not so easy to fix. i had a guy on the end of the phone who resorted to turning the monitor upside down just so he could navigate the mouse. lol
ah the wacky world of windows.

The KB article led to a corrective update (to a critical one) for Internet Explorer that, for some reason, seems to have avoided being offered to me automatically.
