Thanks for your help. I have discovered the cause of the problem, namely
using a reserved word for a column name in 7.1 that wasn't a problem in
6.5++.

Try making a new form w/o using the wizard
Just put one column in the form and see what happens.
If it works, then use that version and add the rest of your columns.

Further to my earlier email, I have found that if I connect to this database
using 6.5++ (DOS) I can add rows to the table in question without any
errors, using the ‘old’ form.

I have also created a new form, (in V7.1) using the wizard, and get the same
‘incorrect number of values’ error.

I don’t know if this adds anything to my earlier inquiry, but any thoughts
on how to solve this problem would be much appreciated. (I am using build
7.1.78.30916)
