You're Welcome... But these things always seem to be easy at first.. What I was looking for was a way to implement VB function called StrConv, that has as an argument vbProperCase, which gives an initial cap to each element like RBase ICap, but then you start looking at the permutations likely to be processed and neither of those solutions will accomodate the most common ones, so I just tried to add a couple of things to some base code I found out there in the ether. There were many VBScript examples that mimiced the StrConv function, but all of them came up dry when you start dealing with the O'Brians and so on. Mine still doesn't handle McCormick correctly, but I am looking into that....
