This is the easiest way to copy one report at a time.
Go to the R:Base Data Explorer and select Reports, highlight the report you want to backup, right click and select unload from the pop-up window, select the directory where you want the report stored, likely the directory where your second database resides. This approach will create 2 file one is your_report_name.rpt and the other is your_report_name.LOB.
Connect to the second database, select Command Files and highlight the file your_report_name.rpt, right click and select run from the pop-up window; the report will load into the new database.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - transferring reports
I apologize in advance as I know this has been answered before. However, it appears I did not save this particular thread!
I want to copy a report from one database to another. (Both are 7.1) I tried
Unload Data for Sys_Reports3 where Sys_Report_Name = reportname
The output did not contain the report data, just the character settings.
Would someone please be so kind to refresh my memory on this method.
Thanks in advance.
-Bob
