Troy,

I had a problem with R:Base not exiting properly from my apps - it was
discussed on the list around Feb/March but not resolved at that time.

Eventually, I put in a request for a "silent exit" to RDCC in July to which
I it was suggested that I put the EXIT command in an EEP and close R:Base
from a form. (See my posting 18/07/2004)

I now have a pretty form that simply says "Leaving R:Base" which I use to
exit.

Although it does seem much better using the form I still get regular
occurances of R:Base not exiting properly. It appears to close but the task
manager still shows it running and I have to kill it. I haven't found
anything that I am doing regularly on those occasions when it happens.

Regards,
Alastair.
