I reported it but then changed the status to "ignore" until I looked at it a little closer. My problem was with a DB Text object, not a variable like yours. I will switch it back to an active bug report.

Did anyone report this bug to RDCC??

If not, I will. I am having the same problem with the autosize on a
variable. It will not autosize.

Thanks, Kenny, it looks as if I might need to go back another upgrade to check my strange report behaviour.

Up to a point, it's easy to solve my problem by making the report, and the
object, wider but this doesn't guarantee I'm going to get what I need.

Regards,
Alastair.

By looking at an archived copy of the database (and the report in
question)
and the paper copies of the reports on file, I have proof that when I
applied build 78, the behavior of my report changed.

However, I have very little experience with word wrap and autosize used in
combo ( and had no need for it in this report), so I am not sure of the
expected "proper" behavior.
