A student at Lawrence Tech University (in Michigan), for his Senior project
is developing a web site for Pharmacies to trade medications. He was
planning to use Oracle, since that was the language he learned at the
University.
But his department head told him that R:Base was being taught there.
He called me to find out what that was all about. He then bought R:Base and
R:web.
Of course, he didn't know how to use it, so he attended one session in my
class, then I gave him a free one hour crash course in R:Base.
Now he is telling his classmates how much better R:Base is than Oracle!!
