When you first place your region it ususally is set up with five rather tall rows. Place all your fields in the first row, then shrink the row by dragging the bottom of the region, shrinking all the rows to your desired size. In the form properties you can set the number of rows you want to appear. Shrinking the rows first allows you to see how many will fit on the form.
