Dennis,

On your item #1 - after the property ... refresh, you say the PK table displays the next row, but does it have focus? If not, try a SETFOCUS or some other method of getting the cursor to logically land on the row and see if the slave table doesn't refresh then.

In converting some of my forms to RB7 there have been a couple of issues...

As an example:

1. PK and FK screen form with multiple rows in the PK region. A button on the form allows you to copy the PK and FK rows to the "Closed PK and FK rows tables" and then it deletes the rows the users is viewing, and then performs the PROPERTY TABLE <tablename> 'refresh' on both tables.

The next PK row is displayed but nothing for the FK region. I don't like my old standby of Nextrow then Previous row since that is "6.5 thinking".

2. I was very intrigue with the recent post (see below) of all the values for the Property Table command. I didn't understand the discussion about Saving a row verses Posting. I.e., committing to disk versus writing just to a buffer. And, I thought Refresh would take care of the PK rows problem discussed above but I've been unsuccessful so far.

Syntax: PROPERTY TABLE <tablename> 'value'
Supported values:

. APPEND
. CANCEL
. DELETE
. EDIT
. FIRST
. LAST
. NEXT
. POST
. PRIOR
. REFRESH
. UPDATE

Dennis
