So what I'm gathering is that anything I can do in a CHOOSE, I can do in a popup. A popup is just a choose statement anyway (DUH). As Albert said, my reaction is Why didn't I think of that?

For example, I have a pop up that display the equipment code and description as follows: File: equip_file Pop-up type: columns with expression Columns returned: equip_code Under Menu values I have: ( LJS(equip_code, 20) + LJS(equip_desc,40) ) In the body of the WHERE clause I have: WHERE equip_type <> 'SAL' ORDER BY equip_code ASC TITLE 'Equipment Code Description _' CAPTION 'Select Equipment where radio is installed ...' LINES 20 OPTION LIST_FONT_NAME Courier New | TITLE_FONT_NAME Courier New | TITLE_FONT_COLOR BLUE | CAPTION_FONT_NAME Courier New Note: I use a bunch of blank spaces and a "_" at the end of the TITLE definition after "Description" in order to line up the header with the data. As you can see, there are a lot of things that can be done with the pop-up; by changing the fonts and colors, you can get pretty fancy pop-ups. I've always created a view and based my popup on the view. It didn't occur to me until just now to do a group by right in the popup where clause.
