They are visible.
I'm not certain what the difference might be between ACTIVEPAGEINDEX and TABINDEX. Thing is, TABINDEX moves me to the TAB, which fires the eep.

Thanks Emmitt. I can't figure out what's going on. One question -- are your tabs visible or not (mine have been made invisible with PROPERTY . . . TABVISIBLE FALSE.
