I am also interested in this. I believe that the location
of My Documents is stored in the registry somewhere - but how to get
it??? I worked around it in my situation. I only had three users to
worry about, so I stored their document locations in a table in the
database.

I read with great interest
Emmitt's program to check for a Network folder, but I have a further
challenge. Is there a way to determine the user's default My Documents
directory? Chkfile will not check subdirectories, so I cannot capture the
value of the full directory path to My Documents. Just trying to make
things simpler for my users - having the Save to default to their Documents
directory so they won't have to search for it, or heaven forbid, make 2 extra
mouse clicks!!!
Thanks for any
input!!!
