When we implemented our new invoice module we set it up so that all reports are printed to PDF files and stored on disk, nicely segregated for easy reference. We even built the invoice lookup and reprint right into the program - locate and LAUNCH the pdf.

It took some conversation with the accountants to get them to recognize that they do NOT have to print a copy of every blooming document to store in a file cabinet anymore.

Still, I think they do just that ... pre-invoice registers, final registers, invoices, transmission recaps, etc. etc. etc.
