[RBG7-L] - Carriage Return in TEXT Field

Help again please!   In converting from 6.5++ to 7.1, I notice a difference in how a carriage return is saved in a TEXT field.  I am sure this has been discussed on the list but I can't find it today.    I have a TEXT field on a form using a DBMemo object.  When I use the a carriage return in that field (either by checking "Allow Returns" for the object or by using Ctrl Enter if "Allow Returns" is not checked) all lines, below the first one, are lost. Is it possible to use the carriage return in any way in a TEXT field and have all the data saved?
