If you want it on only 1 field, right click that field and in 6.5 use
Pictureformat and in 7.1 use Displayformat in both cases use as format
mmddyy or any other desired format

Thanks all

But Medicare only wants to get rid of
the / in 1 date field. All of the other
date fields the / is OK and they
maybe even want it in the other
fields.

This report has about 8-9 date fields
so a field format might be what I need.

set date mmddyy will produce 022305
set date mm.dd.yy will produce 02.23.05

but I can't seem to be able to produce 02 23 05

How do you format the date in reports
like 02 23 05 in reports for 6.x
or 022305

I just got a call from an office in Fla and Medicare (my friends) does
not want the / in the dates.

I have to get this user fixed ASAP until I can finish converting my app
to 7.1 and upgrade him.

Thanks
Marc
