In RB7, if you specify the margins correctly (that is, using the Margins setting of the page layout dialog) and you use large enough margins for any printer you might reasonably encounter, then I would think that the printed output would consistently appear in the same place on the printed page no matter what the capabilities of the printer. Have you observed different behavior? RB7.5 is said to have the ability to set report properties in code. I don't know if that includes the page layout settings (it's not clear to me from the current interface whether those are considered part of the report or not). -- Larry
