Dawn,

Thanks for shedding the light on this for me. I'm not that savvy with
Acrobat, I didn't even know about the Document Properties! But, in the end,
that is much better than the Windows properties anyway.

Claudine :)

Claudine
This is what happens on my end: The info appears in the document
properties of the pdf (In Acrobat, File > Document Properties.) It does
not appear in the file properties when looking at the properties in
Windows. So, it is the document properties you are setting, not the
file properties apparently.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Option pdf

Hello again,

When I print to pdf, I'm expecting to see the subject, title and author
in the properties of the pdf file. It is not there. This is my print
command.
Can anyone see my mistake? Also I cannot use "Express" or "Report" in
any of those fields. R:Docs doesn't show the desired format, such as
when quotes might be needed...

IF vprintmode = 'PDF' THEN
      PRINT afe_report OPTION pdf +
      |filename c:\afe_report.pdf + -- this works
      |subject AFE Transportation Costs + -- doesn't show in the pdf
file properties
      |title 'Industry Express, Inc.' + -- doesn't work with just IEX
Report without quotes either...
      |author Kent McClatchy + -- doesn't show in the pdf file
properties
      |open ON
    ENDIF

TIA, Claudine
