As you say, better safe than sorry. I guess that I've been a bit stricter
than I needed to have been with myself but that's probably no bad thing.
I'll keep to my first four characters as different from reserved words
system.

I rarely use shortened forms of commands to make it easier to understand.
SET VAR is pretty much the only one that I do use regularly.
