in pop-ups, user can access a pop-up menu was checked but nothing else was done. Hmmmm, worked ok in 6.5++??

I am getting an error from a choose statement when I do enter using formname
CHOOSE V20303298 FROM #VALUES FOR FROM CAPT '' LINES 5 -ERROR- Syntax is incorrect for the command CHOOSE (2045)
I can't tell where it is coming from (form converted from 6.5++ win).
Any idea how I can find what v20303298 is. there is no table name in the choose statement, which is probably where the error is coming from. It happens as soon as the form comes up before entering any data.
I looked at form properties, table props, 1st and second fields. I cannot find the choose statement.
Does the error consider opoups to be choose statements. But I looked at those also.
