_Anytime_ you are going to set object properties for the duration of the life
of the object, you would set it at the "earliest" time possible, which with our
forms is the onAfter Form EEP.  In your scenario, you are trying to change the
property (quite possibly after) at the time it is being tested for.

In Real Estate it's Location Location Location, In programming it's Timing
Timing Timing!
