Have you tried a postal bar code from another program to see if it is
the same as the one generated by Rbase? Both Word and WordPerfect have
that option.

It WAS defined as TEXT 9 w/o the hyphen. I redefined it as 10 with the
hyphen, but the info does not match the Barcodes on the mail I receive
from credit card companies. I tried a field that is TEXT 12 using the 9
digit zip (with hyphen) followed by the first two characters of the
street address. The 12 character field did not match the barcodes on
incoming mail either.

Perhaps my idea that the barcode on our incoming mail should be
identical to the barcodes from Rbase is incorrect?

Bill,

Is the Zip Code used for PostNet Barcode defined as TEXT (10), and does
it include the hyphen?

Example: 15668-1854
