Subject: [RBG7-L] - Cooking RBase 7.5, New Feature JUMP and JUMPTO,
European RBase Training

Dear RBase Developers

We spend two very exciting days at European RBase Spring Training with
Razzak and the upcoming R:Base V7.5.
One time more we have not even learned a lot about new features, we have
even been able to see the power of the RBTI-Team: Within some hours
(during
our dinner), they realized two new features we asked for:

PROPERTY TABLE <Form_table> 'JUMP <relPos>'
  <Form_table> pointed table by property
<relPos> relative number of jumps forward positive
                or backward with negative value
Purpose Will force focus to pointed record within a DBGrid or
ScrollingRegion,
                depending on the current record-position

PROPERTY TABLE <Form_table> 'JUMPTO <absPos>'
  <Form_table> pointed table by property
<relPos> absolute record to jump to, positive only
                or backward with negative value
Purpose Will force focus to <absPos> record within a DBGrid or
ScrollingRegion,
                independent on the current record

With this new features we could replace awkward workarounds with EEP's
to
bring user to correct record.
Thanks to Razzak and the RBTI-Team.

Also I have to say many thanks to all the European who were joining us
at
the training, coming from Sweden, UK, France, German and Switzerland ;).
It
was a pleasure to welcome you here in Switzerland.

And to sum it up my warning to the attendees of the upcoming
R:Chautauqua
conference:
Get warm clothes and some more socks, you will be very impressed about
the
new build of beta 7.5!

Best Regards
