I will be tackling a similar issue soon, but have not started it yet.
However, if you are actually doing invoices through published standards, there
are more than one way to accomplish this. You should do research
on AS1 and AS2 to see which format fits best. (Probably AS2)
There are many web sites to get information on the above.
