Bill, I have a client that prints envelopes on an old HP LaserJet III. He has an envelope tray and I believe it holds about 20 #10 envelopes. It works OK but he has someone stand over to keep the envelope tray full and to clear jams. He has tried to print envelopes on some of his newer printers but he had a lot of problems with jams so he went back to the LaserJet III. I think that you will find that most standard Laser printers will not accept 3-3/8" x 6" stock from a tray. They will only allow you to print that size via the "one at a time" slot.

We use #6 coin envelopes (3-3/8" x 6"). I am considering updating our Rbase application to print directly to envelopes. Does anyone have experience printing directly to envelopes? Are there any special considerations in programming or printer selection before we start on the project? Thanks. Bill Niehaus
