Dawn,

My scanner is also programmed to jump to the next field after the scan.
It looks like your scanner is programmed to press the [ENTER] key twice.
Am I understanding you correctly? If so how do you program the scanner
to do it. I checked the manual for my scanner and I did not see this
option.

I have a small db edit field after the field receiving the scanned data.
Our scanners are programmed to to scan the info into the field, jump to
the next field then jump to the next row. If there eep were to encounter
a problem when jumping to the next field, an error message would
display, preventing the jump to the next row momentarily. As soon as
the user clicks off the error message, the cursor does go to the next
row, but the user has been notified of the problem in the first row.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - EEP's in a scrolling region

As you may or may not already know, the EEP's will not work in the DB
edit object of the scrolling region if there is only one DB Edit Object
enabled. In order for the EEP's to work there needs to be another DB
Edit object enabled. What I want to do is to use the Form in the ENTRY
mode and with the scanner to enter the data to the first DB Edit object,
then use the On Exit EEP to check the validity of the entered data and
then go to the next row without having to go to the next DB Edit object
and having to hit the [ENTER] key to add the row. Would anybody have any
idea on how to do it?
