Not a genius....just moments of clarity every now and again. I don't know about the latest 7.5 build. I was wondering the same thing.

Have you tried with and without using a theme for the form? I tested a sample form with and without the Mac OS theme and that seems to prevent the focus from shifting. I haven't tested with the 7.5.5.30505 build - I'm still on the build from R:Chautauqua.
