Hi Razzak I guess this matter cannot be fixed and is an incompatiable issue with the SQL UPDATE statement.

I did what you suggested installed the latest ODBC driver and official update release 80 for R:BASE ver 7.1. I still have the same problem. The update statement works fine on a small table but I get an MS SQL error when I try to update a large table. It looks like some sort of cache problem. Do you have any other ideas ? Make sure that the System DSN is using the latest ODBC driver 02. Use the latest version and build of R:BASE 7.1 for Windows to SCONNECT to connect server databases and SATTACH to attach server tables. http:///www.rbase.com/rbg7updates Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
