I just ran a quick test and got the same results. (Using pre-release 79)
It used to come up and ask if you wanted to refresh the screen data with
the new data and now the message only states do you wish to save. If so,
as you state, it saves the entire row and over writes the other users modified
data.
I checked my settings and have "column verify" checked. I must be missing some
setting, so perhaps someone could help out.
Thanks all!

-------------- Original message --------------
I have two users editing the same row with the same form and each is making a change to a different column/field on that row. In 7.1, the first user saves their changes without problem, but when the second user tries to save their changes they get the error message, "Data has been changed by another user since last refresh. Do you want to save your changes? Yes or No". If you say Yes, 7.1 will save the second user's changes overwriting the first user's changes. This functions differently in 6.5 where the second user's changes to their column/field would have been saved and the first user's changes to their column/field would have been retained. Both 7.1 and 6.5 are verifying on the column level. How do I allow multiusers to edit the same row, different column/field concurrently and accept both changes? Is there an Rbase setting or do I have to code this? Or do I have to limit editing of a row to one user?--Barsa
