Razzak & Bob, Thanks for your suggestions, however no matter what I try (except the before & after EEPs which I have yet to investigate) the gap remains. I may start again with a new report and see what happens.

John, Changing the property of those bands from "Static Height" to "Dynamic Height" should take care of the gaps. Here's how: 01.
