Using latest version of R:BASE 7.1, I'm entering time into a form (DBedit field). In this database I have my time settings as follows:

TIME format MM:SS:HH
TIME sequence MMSSHH

Let's say I'm trying to enter a time of 10 hours 20 minutes and 30 seconds. Taking my time format into consideration, if I try to enter 20:30:10 it is immediately switched to 30:10:20. In order to get the correct time in the database I have to enter time using HH:MM:SS format even though my time settings are for MM:SS:HH.

Is there some other setting that needs to be changed or is this the way it is suppose to work?

Cheryl,

While entering the data, you MUST follow the SEQUENCE!

With you settings, try entering the time as 203010,
without the ":" as it does not include in TIME sequence.

Very Best R:egards,
