Marc, What does your shortcut say? (1) C:\RBTI\RBG75\RBG75.EXE (2) C:\RBTI\RBG75\RBG75.EXE myapp.dat Start in: C:\myappdirectory
Are you on a network? (1) C:\RBTI\RBG75\RBG75.EXE (4) Start in: O:\myappdirectory where O is a mapped drive ((1) R:Base defaults to rbase.dat if found. You'll get the file not found in (2) if you've specified myapp.dat and it's missing, or (4) if you're on a network and you aren't logged in to the network drive so that myapp.dat is not found since the directory is invalid. When you get this kind of file not found error, then you have launched R:Base but no database is opened. There are other combinations, if you're running R:Base on your server, etc... but I think that the file R:Base is looking for is the startup .DAT file. Does that help? On the other hand, I've been experiencing a file not found error on closing R:Base, but I think that's a different issue... > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Marc > Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2005 10:41 AM > To: RBG7-L Mailing List > Subject: [RBG7-L] - error file not found starting RBase 7.1 > > Hi > > I just started getting an error when starting RBase 7.1 for Windows. > It says File not found but I do not know what file RBase is looking > for? > > I am using the latest build. > > Any suggestions > > Thanks > Marc
