PAGEMODE is very easy to use and gives you extreme flexibility; I have used
extensively in the past to generate reports that were way to complicate for
the report generator.
Also, have you consider just writing a program that accesses the data,
formats it in the ways you need it and then simply writes to a file using:
OUTPUT your_file name
-- Your code here
WRITE .your variable name
-- your code here
OUTPUT SCREEN
I imagine that a simple loop would not be very difficult or times consuming
to program...

That might be another option, but it's orders of magnitude easier to just go
back to RB DOS 6.1 where the job can be accomplished very easily and I can
trust the output.

It's disappointing that RBG7 has regressed in this particular area, but I
hope
only temporarily.
