I'm not sure if this is an R:Base or a Windows "feature" but does
anybody know if there is a way to tell R:Base that the address
that the control is looking for is available locally and, therefore,
there is no need to start a dial-up connection?
I've tried going "off-line" before calling the form and also using
property commands to disable and/or hide the control but the
dialler always seems to start and not want to be cancelled.
Alastair,
You may change the Internet options of your we browser,
such as MS IE, as following:
01. Start MS IE
02. Main Menu | Tools | Internet Options | Connections
03. Check the option for "Never Dial a Connection"
04. Click on [OK] button to save settings
Hope that helps!
Very Best R:egards,
