If you selected "Server Install", you need to start R:Base with the -a switch 
to tell it that all
files are in the executable directory. If you selected the default 
installation, make sure you
have no extra copies of files that start RBE in places that can cause problems. 
There should only
be one copy of each. As I run multiple versions of R:Base at the same time, I 
always use server
installation and start the program with the -a switch. Everything works as it 
should.
