Also, if you cross over midnight, you have to take into account the differences in seconds with an additional calculation, adding a days worth of seconds if you have a negative result in your calculation.  I use a 24 hour type entry - like time in: 2200 for 10 p.m.

Check your data type the returned value will be seconds and an integer. It must be timeout-timein for postive value

I am making a table to keep track of employees time.  I have timein and timeout and a calculated column of totaltime.  When i enter times the calculated column remains null.  This is probably something very simple, but any help would be appreciated
