Hi everyone,

Our environment: Windows 2000 server, Windows XP Pro for workstations,
Rbase 7.1 patch 81, Oterro 3, Tango 4, ASP.

We're implementing Paypal online credit card payments and we can't get a
Paypal ASP application to update the Rbase (Oterro) database. It was
suggested that we use a DSN-less ODBC connection but that doesn't work. If
any of you out there have experience and can make this work we'll gladly
help fund your favorite charity (probably you, right?). We're getting to a
critical stage where time is of the essence and we have to get this
application online. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Brad,

After clicking on the "Current Directory" icon (bottom left) and
selecting the appropriate directory, make sure to click on [OK]
button to switch to selected directory.

Notice the full path displayed next to the change directory icon.

On the other hand, if you wish to *always* start in a particular
directory, for example, C:\RB75Data\RRBYW10, then you may use the
following steps:

01. Create a shortcut for R:BASE Editor 7.5 on your desktop with
     the following properties:

     Target: C:\RBTI\RBEdit\RBEDIT.exe
     Start in: C:\RB75Data\RRRBYW10

02. R:BASE Editor | Editor Settings ... | General

Un-check the option for [Remember Last Working Directory]

Click on [OK] to save settings

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
