Is there a way to use RbEdit by right clicking on a file in

Bill,
If R:BASE Editor 7.5 is installed correctly, you can simply
file associate any file type to open with RBEdit.
There are at least two ways to do this:
First:
01. Right-click on the file and select "Open With ..."
option.
02. From the list of installed software, select:
R:BASE Editor 7.5 for Windows
Click on the check box for [ ] Always use the selected
program to open this kind of file
Click on [OK] button
Second:
R:BASE Editor 7.5 for Windows includes the built-in Shell
Integration option to achieve that goal.
Here's how:
01. Start R:BASE Editor 7.5 for Windows (Update 2 or higher)
02. Main Menu | Settings | Edit Syntax Schemes...
(or click on Edit Syntax Schemes... icon on the tool bar)
03. Select "R:BASE" from the list of Available Schemes and
click on [Edit] button
04. Under the Syntax Scheme Editor options, click on [Add]
button, type the file extension and then click on [OK]
button.
Click on [OK] button to save Syntax Scheme Editor options
Click on [Close] button to close Scheme Editor.
05. Main Menu | Settings | Shell Integration
(or click on Shell Integration ... icon on the tool bar)
06. Notice the list of all available File Types
07. Check the appropriate file extension and click on [OK]
button
08. Close and Exit R:BASE Editor 7.5
09. Using the Windows Explorer, simply double-click on the
file with that particular file extension
10. Notice the R:BASE Editor 7.5 and the file
That's all there is to it!
Enjoy and make sure to have fun.
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
