Claudine:
I assume that you are using a speed button or something similar and that you
have a custom EEP defined as follows:

SET VAR VDONE = 'NO'
CLOSEWINDOW
RETURN

First make sure that you do not have a pre-defined EEP such as EXIT also
checked. Now, when you trace the program, what is the value of VDONE when
you get to the CLOSEWINDOW statement? After it executes, it should return
you to the statement right after ENTER... statement in the calling program
code below; now, what is the value of VDONE? (it should not have changed) If
it is 'NO' then it should go to the LABEL doitagain statement, if it is
'YES" then it should execute the RETURN and go back to wherever it was
called...Where in this process is the code not working? Is the value of
VDONE changing from 'NO' to 'YES' somewhere?

LABEL doitagain
Other steps here...
ENTER USING car_inv_enter CAPTION .vgreeting
IF vdone = 'NO' THEN
GOTO doitagain
ENDIF
RETURN

Dawn, Javier,

Yes, I predefine the variable to null. And, Dawn, I meant to say it appears
to have stopped working since update 10. I'm currently on 12.

When I trace, the closewindow executes and I'm returned to the main form,
not the eep. I can't see why it fails to "return" to the eep.
