To All Users of R:BASE 7.1, 7.5 and V-8 "Turbo" for Windows:
If you are using the latest updates for R:BASE 7.1 for Windows
(Build: 7.1.81.30802), R:BASE 7.5 for Windows (Build: 7.5.14.30802)
or R:BASE V-8 "Turbo" for Windows (Build: 8.0.11.30804), you
probably have noticed that the engine message files are not included
and the size of RBEngine.DLL, RBEngine75.DLL and RBEngine8.DLL is
slightly bigger than the previous updates.
R:BASE Technologies and its Development Team are proud to achieve the
goal of incorporating all related external message (*.MSG) files into
one DLL!
Total elimination of message files in R:BASE 7.1, R:BASE 7.5 and
R:BASE V-8 "Turbo" has been our goal. All message files and required
libraries are now integrated in RBEngine.DLL, RBEngine75.DLL, and
RBEngine8.DLL. This is a major improvement in the history of R:BASE
to speed things up in local and wide area network environments. This
step should also help to maintain on-going updates for network
administrators.
Upcoming updates for Oterro 3.1, Oterro 3.5, Oterro 8.0 and all
associated ODBC drivers for R:BASE 7.1, 7.5, and V-8 "Turbo" will
also include this enhancement.
