Thanks! I turned off ZoneAlarm, downloaded RBG7.1 Update 9, and this
time it installed fine.
I never have had a problem with R:Base updates with ZoneAlarm running
until this version.
If there is an incompatibility problem between the two programs, then
IMO RBTI either (1) should take steps to make the two compatible because
more and more people are using ZA, or (2) put a prominent warning on the
download site to warn that ZA has to be turned off before downloading RB.
As I said, until FRC9 I have never had a problem with ZA and RB before.

I just downloaded R:BASE 7.1 for Windows (Update 81) - Build:
7.1.81.30805, and when I try to open it, I get a "Corrupted EXE file"
message. Looks like this needs checking.
