Remember, necessity is the mother of all inventions!
Take a real-life scenario, where one individual is working on the
database in a basement/bunker, where there is no cell phone or
ready access to a phone line. S/he is trying to reach a colleague
using the same database in a different location, to ask him a
question or let him know that the database needs to be disconnected.
R:Chat is basically the result of such environment!
Using R:Chat (a GUI utility), you as an administrator, can pick the
centralized database and see a list of all users connected to the
selected database and their details including the connection time,
etc.
Imagine the Possibilities!
