I will look forward to the Conference.
Even if it is not a 24/7 environment, this undocumented
(soon to be documented) feature sounds useful.

Bernie,

In addition to the live demonstration by R:Presentor at
the conference, I'll also have the entire routine
implemented in Running R:BASE Your Way! (Part 10)
(Conference Edition).

One of the highlights:

Will it get documented at the conference? Otherwise it will
remain a dark secret known only to those who possess special
powers!

Bernie,

Imagine a Government/Corporate 24/7 environment where you cannot
even afford to shutdown the system for regular maintenance. There
are *many* features (currently un-documented) which have been
added throughout the beta and pre-purchase process of R:BASE 7.5
and V-8 "Turbo" for Windows to handle R:BASE maintenance routines
automatically in a "multi-user" environment.

Among the un-documented commands and system variables, the
R:BASE Database Administrator can monitor the Active Rows, Deleted
Rows, Dead Space and the overall Utilization and then make the wise
decision to PACK and Build Keys in a multi-user operation.

Of course, everything in reference to that particular presentation
(Commands, Features) will be then documented.

Imagine the possibilities!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
