Rather embarassingly, I did not think to try this. I will be back on site tommorrow and will give it a go. In the meantime, as a work around, I installed the printer three times on the workstation in question and hard-coded the tray selection into the printer installation. I then use the PRINTER_NAME option on the PRINT command to select the printer I need. The application is pretty cool -- combining a three-up document on white/yellow/pink carbonfree laser forms from the bottom tray (with COLLATION OFF) with between two and four separate documents on plain paper from the top tray into a stack ready to go into the field. This replaces three separate dot matrix printers, and the new stack is ready to print by the time the operator walks over to the printer, instead of taking several (noisy) minutes to print. -- Larry
