Razzak, try to do this in a form. I think it works in the data browser
but not on a field in a form. See my notes in RDCC submission. If you
are in a varbit field in a form, the Viewer/editor defaults to the
Images tab. Version 7.1.81.30907 I have no problems using a form to
load an image this way in a previous version of RBG71.
Thanks
Bob

John Engwer, Bob Castanaro and Mark Kwoka,

When using the Note/BLOB Field Viewer/Editor, to load the image for a
column with VARBIT data type, make sure that you have selected the
[Images] tab prior to loading the image.

If the active tab is selected as [RTF] or [NOTE/VARCHAR], you'll NOT be
able to save the image.

To use this scenario, follow the exact steps as below and see what you
find:

01. Start RBG7/RBG75 or RBG8

02. CONNECT ConComp

03. Database Explorer | Tables | Contact | Open Table

Move your cursor to ContPhoto cell and press [F4]
key to turn BROWSER into EDTOR

     Double-Click on the field

Make sure that [Images] tab is selected

Click on [Load From File] image icon

Select the appropriate image and then click on [Open]
     button to load image

Now click on the [OK] button to save the image

Follow the next steps accordingly and click on [OK]
to save the image in column.

Are you all able to do that?

I have no problem doing exactly as above, using the latest versions of
RBG7, RBG75 or RBG8.

What versions and builds are you all using?

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
