To be truthful, I have not worked with any Dos version
for a number of years.  I have a prospective new client
that has a DOS 6.5 app that they want converted to
7.5.  I would ask in general, is the conversion fairly
painless, or is there a lot of code deciphering that must be done?
This is using the assumption that step 1 will to be convert
the app pretty much as is and then step 2, make mods and
improvements once they are up and going.  I know that
some fundamental menu handling changes will be made early
on, but mostly the reports etc. will remain the same.

It has 11 application modules, 32 forms, 89 tables and
590 reports(believe it or not!) Most of these reports where
generated by thier in house users and I suspect a large number
may be obsolete.

This system was written over a long period of time by a former
employee of the client who is no longer with them.  They like the
system and most certainly do not want to convert to any canned
package, however they want to move to a Windows based version
for future longevity, etc.

Again, what experience should I expect with DOS 6.5 to Win. 7.5
as far as Report, Application and Form conversions?

Thanks,
-Bob
