Bob, It is EXACTLY as it appears in the instructions PROPERTY Rbase_Form dontshowsavedialog 'true' Not your form name, literally 'Rbase_Form'. Recently had our e-mail "converted" to Outlook and lost a lot of old posts from this list, so I know this has been addressed many times before.. I am trying to use the "dontshowsavedialog" property in a form but don't really know how to use it. The instructions say "Property Rbase_form dontshowsavedialog 'true'" Is Rbase_form the name of the form the property is in (it makes sense, but since this is failing, I had to ask....) So, my syntax is this: Property MYFORMNAME dontshowsavedialog 'true' Where do you put this command? I put it in form properties on before start, after start and the command file calling the form to edit. Nothing works. If I am doing something stupid here, I am a shoe-in to win the "R:base buffoon of the year" award at the annual conference...
