Dennis, put all your files in one directory and start R:Base with the -a
switch. Remove all the RBE* files from the Windows directories. When you
get updates, and on first install, always select the [Server install]
option. This has allowed me to use versions from 4.5 through 7.1 on the
same machine without problems.

I have Rbengine.cfg in my "start in" folder and also my RBase Runtime
folder (RTIme71Win). Looked through some of the Help on this but
didn't see where Rbase will look for it first (or if not found will
build one). Assuming there should always be just one copy.
