I get the access violation as well. I THINK it is because I have - in
the mind of R:Base at least - attempted to save a change in data from
the form designer. Maybe if enough of us go at it, we will finally get
the answer.

Me too!
But I ignore it and changes are still saved and form still works.
This is not unique to the final version of 81, it's been happening for
some time now. Never consistent and I can't put a finger on when it
will happen, but certainly not every change as you have suggested.
Anyone else experience this - please chime in - maybe some expert will
look into it if enough users verify this behavior.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Access Violation
Since I implemented the last update, after creating a NEW database,
every
time I make a change in a form, and I save it I get the following error.
ACCESS VIOLATION AT ADDRESS 0053C7C7 IN MODULE RBG75.EXE READ AT ADDRESS
00000099
The confusing thing is that, with an already created database
(previous to
update) will not happen.
So
I reload it.....still the same
I packed it....still the same
I deleted the database and made another ....still the same
So I admit it I GIVE UP !!!! Help anyone knows the reason of this
beheaviour ( I do not think is Rbase) but something in my setup, altough
nothing has changes except I bought as new chair and coffee mug.
Thanks
Robert
