We had problems with a client a year or three ago, and found that the
Outlook "In your face" notifications can cause problems. The popup in
the bottom corner of the screen is not a problem.

Using the example from RRBYW, we have our contact info right on the
Main Menu of our application. At most plants, they can click on our
email address and it goes Outlook, and it works great. At a plant
yesterday, and when you click on Send in Outlook (with RBbase/RTime)
running, it locks up the PC solid. Outlook works fine if sent with our
application closed. Any help appreciated.
